On-demand interpreting and translation with Tarjimly
Backed by: Tarjimly (nonprofit)
An app that connects you in real time with people and NGOs needing interpretation or translation. All you need is a smartphone.
WarningThere is no confirmed Tarjimly deployment for this quake: its value here is indirect, serving displaced Venezuelans abroad. Download the app only from official stores and distrust anyone promising payment to sign up.
What it does
Tarjimly uses an algorithm to match bilingual speakers with refugees, migrants and aid workers who need translation or interpretation. Spanish is one of the platform's most requested languages, so a Spanish speaker can take live interpreting calls or translate short texts for NGOs and people serving displaced or migrant Venezuelans. It is remote, flexible and has no hours minimum.
